As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will be part of a highly trained security team that supports critical facilities and infrastructure, public venues that required an enhanced presence and personal protective services. You’ll be trained by our team of highly qualified firearms instructors in safe weapons handling and marksmanship. As an Unarmed Security Officer, you are an integral part of the broad spectrum of specialized security services Inter-Con provides its clients every day.<br><br><strong>Job Duties<br><br></strong><ul><li> Additional duties assigned by the Company specific to the particularized and specialized duties performed by officers including but not limited to:</li><li>All duties of Level-1 Security Officers as identified above</li><li>Complete and pass a driving skills class as a Tier-2 driver</li><li>Patrol and monitor the sites 4,000 acres, 12-mile perimeter and 9-gates</li><li>Register all test vehicles transiting the site</li><li>Respond to emergency calls (deer/animal vehicle accident, vehicle to vehicle accident, medical, fire, hazmat, etc.)</li><li>Prepare specific incident reports with photos via text page Issue hot work permits when a Level-2 officer is not on duty (Out of Classification provisions apply)</li><li>Coordinate all shipping and receiving traffic</li><li>Escort and accompany visitors onto the property who lack Tier-2 driving training</li><li>Monitor deer hunters on property</li><li>Call employees on a deer waiting list and escort them as needed</li><li>Inspect oil wells and storage tanks/refinery</li><li>Hazmat response</li><li>Inspect critical site equipment readings (i.e. - cafeteria refrigerator temperatures, freezer temperatures, out-building temperatures, fire riser pressure readings, fire pump gages, fuel levels</li><li>Participate as part of the site vehicle accident team for investigating motor vehicle accidents<br><br></li></ul><strong>Work Environment and Schedule<br><br></strong><ul><li>Job operates in client sites which could be indoors or outdoors.</li><li>Position requires prolonged standing and walking, in the performance of daily security activities.</li><li>Open availability Nights, Weekends, Holidays and overtime as directed(overtime occurs).</li><li>Work various shifts and Holidays as assigned.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Veterans<br><br></strong>Inter-Con is passionate about hiring veterans.
