As an Applications Support Tech Lead Analyst, you will deliver technical and operational support across Citis application environment, acting as a key connector between end users, internal technology teams, and vendors to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement. This is a high-impact individual contributor opportunity within a team committed to technical excellence, where your contributions directly influence the stability, efficiency, and effectiveness of systems that matter.</p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li><p>Coordinate with multiple technology teams to ensure seamless integration of application functions, identifying system gaps and delivering targeted enhancements that meet business goals.</p></li><li><p>Analyze existing application logic to diagnose complex issues, define root causes, and implement scalable, sustainable solutions that reduce operational risk.</p></li><li><p>Formulate and document systems scope and objectives for high-impact application enhancements, translating complex business processes and industry standards into clear technical requirements.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Systems Analysts to determine system impacts, capture support requirements, and align technical delivery to business expectations.</p></li><li><p>Identify application vulnerabilities, security risks, and operational exposures, clearly communicate potential impacts, and present structured risk mitigation options to stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Serve as a technical advisor to junior analysts, guiding their development, allocating tasks effectively, and sharing expertise to raise team capability.</p></li><li><p>Evaluate the implications of technology decisions within the current environment, ensuring proposed solutions are practical, compliant, and aligned with Citis risk and control standards.</p></li><li><p>Participate in disaster recovery testing to validate business continuity readiness and contribute to risk mitigation planning.</p></li><li><p>Take active ownership of support project initiatives focused on application stability, operational efficiency, and service effectiveness.</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p><b>Required Qualifications & Skills</b></p><ul><li><p>6 to 10 years of experience in application support, systems analysis, or a related technology function, with a demonstrated ability to operate independently on complex deliverables.</p></li><li><p>Practical problem-solving ability combined with strategic thinking skills, enabling you to move from issue identification through to resolution with clarity and confidence.</p></li><li><p>Established relationship-building skills, with a track record of guiding peers, influencing stakeholders, and coordinating across cross-functional technology teams.</p></li><li><p>Experience leading or contributing to requirements gathering for multiple large-scale development projects simultaneously, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency with standard technical tools and systems relevant to application support and systems integration environments.</p></li><li><p>Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable information for both technical and non-technical audiences.</p></li><li><p>A service-oriented mindset with the ability to perform at pace in a dynamic, global environment where priorities and demands can shift rapidly.</p></li><li><p>Flexibility to work shifts between 7:00 AM to 8:30 PM, with availability to support weekend rotations as required by the business.</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>Beneficial Skills & Qualifications</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelors degree or university-level qualification, or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field.</p></li><li><p>Experience contributing to process improvement initiatives or the standardization of support practices and procedures.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with how application support functions integrate within a broader technology or operations organization.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with data-driven environments, business intelligence platforms, or production management practices within financial services.</p></li><li><p>Prior experience coaching or mentoring junior team members within a structured support or delivery function.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What We Offer</b></p><p></p><p>Joining Citi means becoming part of a global team where your technical expertise has real impact.
