Our client, in the biopharmaceutical space, is looking for a Social Media Digital Marketing Contractor to join their team.

This is a 6-month contract role with potential to extend and would be 100% remote working EST hours.

Must have biotech or pharmaceutical AND Meta Business Suite experience to be considered for this role.

This role requires a work portfolio with examples of content & analytics to be considered.

They are seeking a results-driven Digital Marketing Contractor with a strong specialty in social media management to support and execute our digital marketing strategy. This role will focus on building brand awareness, driving engagement, and supporting lead generation through strategic content creation, campaign execution, and performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with executing comprehensive social media strategies aligned with overall marketing goals
  • Manage day-to-day activity across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X), including willingness to monitor and act as needed 7 days a week
  • Create, curate, and schedule engaging content (posts, reels, stories, short-form video, etc.)
  • Monitor trends and proactively recommend new content ideas and platform strategies
  • Engage with online communities by responding to comments and messages as required by FDA rules
  • Execute paid social campaigns, including audience targeting, budgeting, and A/B testing
  • Collaborate with internal teams (design, patient advocacy, corporate communications) to ensure brand consistency
  • Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversions, ROI)
  • Optimize campaigns and content based on data insights and performance trends
  • Maintain a content calendar and ensure timely delivery of all campaigns

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing with a strong emphasis on paid and organic social media management
  • Experience with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite (required), Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Talkwalker)
  • Strong understanding of paid social advertising and campaign optimization
  • Excellent written and visual communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
  • Creative mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in healthcare media and understanding of managing social media in a regulated industry
  • MLR review process (Veeva Vault)
  • Basic graphic design or video editing skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut)
  • Familiarity with SEO and broader digital marketing channels (paid search, SEM, CRM)
