<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>We are seeking a Senior Blockchain Software Engineer to join a Digital Asset Innovation team focused on transforming asset and servicing capabilities using emerging technologies. This role will contribute to building next-generation platforms leveraging blockchain, cloud computing, and advanced cryptographic techniques.</p><p>You will design and build secure, scalable distributed systems and play a key role in developing decentralized applications and blockchain-based solutions.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Design, develop, and deploy decentralized applications (dApps) with permissioned access controls</li><li>Build and manage blockchain networks ensuring security, scalability, and reliability</li><li>Develop and interact with smart contracts across leading blockchain/DLT platforms</li><li>Implement integrations between blockchain systems and external services (oracle development)</li><li>Create libraries and APIs to connect blockchain solutions with enterprise systems</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define requirements and implementation strategies</li><li>Contribute to system architecture with a focus on resiliency, fault tolerance, and performance at scale</li><li>Mentor team members and promote engineering best practices</li><li>Maintain documentation for system design, development processes, and deployment workflows</li><li>Ensure compliance with data protection and cybersecurity standards</li><li>Stay current with emerging blockchain technologies and industry trends</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field</li><li>5+ years of software engineering experience, including hands-on blockchain development</li><li>Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot</li><li>Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)</li><li>Experience building highly scalable, distributed systems</li><li>Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Solidity, Java, Node.js, Python, Go, or Rust</li><li>Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms</li><li>Experience applying cryptographic principles in distributed systems</li><li>Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and common attack vectors</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure</li><li>Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes</li><li>Experience with permissioned blockchain frameworks (e.g., Hyperledger)</li><li>Exposure to financial services or digital asset platforms</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Distributed systems architecture</li><li>Blockchain & smart contracts</li><li>Cryptography and security engineering</li><li>Cloud-native development</li><li>API design and system integration</li><li>Strong communication and problem-solving skills</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Rate: $90-$105/hr</strong></p>
