Branch Services Manager:

East West Bank is currently seeking a Branch Services Manager. This position is responsible for business development and bank product sales. The Branch Services Manager will manage the branch using effective strategies to ensure that annual branch goals are met. He/she also provides exceptional customer service to all clients, works with other product managers to refer bank products to business partners, and ensures adherence to all policies and procedures for compliance.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED is the preferred educational background.
  • Drawing from 5 years of firsthand experience in the functional/professional realm.
  • A track record of three years in a leadership or supervisory position.
  • 3-5 years related experience and/or training including strong commercial lending or product knowledge.
  • Understanding and proficiency in analyzing, evaluating, and interpreting balance sheets to assess a company’s financial performance.
  • Proficiency in delivering information clearly and managing questions from various audiences like managers, employees, consumers, and society.

Responsibilities:

  • Arrange, synchronize, and oversee the overall functioning and tasks of a fully functional branch office, which involves tracking and evaluating the performance of sales and customer service against specified plans and objectives.
  • Engage with current and potential clientele in the store and through external outreach campaigns to showcase new merchandise and offerings to a different group of consumers and commercial ventures.
  • Establish connections with customers, corporations, communities, and civic entities to drive business growth; conduct training sessions for employees focusing on sales, service excellence, and product understanding.
  • Outline a detailed plan for the branch's operations that aims to maximize profits from the specified range of banking services.
  • Make sure to follow through with the procedures for safeguarding and controlling assets, records, securities, and loan collateral.
  • Develop and present financial and regulatory documentation in accordance with legal mandates, policies, and executive directives.
  • Engage with community functions and organizations to market and promote the bank's products and services to a broader audience.
  • Manage the performance of branch staff by overseeing the activities of subordinate supervisors who supervise employees in various areas of the branch.
  • Execute supervisory tasks in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures, and applicable legal provisions.
