Overview NTT DATA is seeking a skilled Cloud Platform Engineer with strong expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to design, build, secure, and operate scalable cloud platforms. As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will focus on enabling engineering and product teams by providing reliable, automated, and secure cloud infrastructure following DevOps and platform engineering best practices. Responsibilities • Design, build, and maintain AWS-based cloud platforms and shared services. * Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools. * Build CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployments and platform reliability. * Manage cloud networking, security, identity, and access management. * Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud resources for performance and cost. * Collaborate with application, DevOps, and SRE teams to improve developer experience. * Ensure platform compliance with security, governance, and regulatory standards. * Design architectures using AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch. * Implement high availability, disaster recovery, and scalability patterns. * Optimize cloud cost using AWS cost management and monitoring tools. * Maintain secure networking including VPC design, security groups, NACLs, and load balancers. * Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline. * Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployments. * Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions. * Promote DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices. Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in cloud or platform engineering. * Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and architecture. * Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation). * Strong Linux administration and scripting skills (Python, Bash). * Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS). * Knowledge of networking, security, and identity management in cloud environments.
