Position Overview

Archera is looking for a Commercial Account Executive to own the full sales cycle across our commercial and mid-market segment. You’ll prospect into new accounts, run discovery and product demos, quantify savings opportunities, and close deals with both technical and financial stakeholders. This is a high-velocity, quota-carrying role for a curious, coachable seller who wants to grow while helping customers unlock meaningful cloud savings. You’ll partner closely with SDRs, Solutions Engineers, and leadership to build pipeline and move deals to close.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle for commercial and mid-market accounts, from prospecting through close

  • Prospect into target accounts and build pipeline through personalized, multi-channel outreach

  • Run discovery and demo calls, delivering tailored savings analyses that map Archera’s value to each prospect’s cloud environment

  • Progress active deals, navigating technical and financial stakeholders across engineering, FinOps, and finance

  • Build account plans and conduct account mapping to identify and engage key decision makers

  • Partner with SDRs, Solutions Engineers, and marketing on account strategy and messaging

  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecast, and activity data in Salesforce and the broader sales stack

  • Prepare presentations and represent Archera at events and conferences

  • Continuously incorporate coaching and market feedback to refine your approach

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of tech sales experience with a track record of successfully closing deals

  • Deep understanding of the tech sales motion

  • Coachability — adaptable to change and able to incorporate new learnings promptly and effectively

  • Curiosity — digs deeper than surface-level learnings, objections, and pain points

  • Proficiency with a modern sales stack, including Salesforce, Gong, Apollo, Dripify, and Zoom

  • AI-enabled and proficient in applying AI tools to sell more effectively

  • Demonstrated executive presence

  • Demonstrated experience selling to a highly technical persona

Nice to Have

  • Experience selling to cloud infrastructure and/or FinOps customers

  • Experience at a FinOps, cloud infrastructure, observability, or cloud optimization company

  • Cloud and/or FinOps certifications

Compensation

On-target earnings (OTE): $150,000–$200,000, with uncapped commission. This is a fully remote role based in the United States (East Coast preferred).
