Offshore DCS Engineer - DeltaV / INFI90Location: Offshore (Santa Barbara, CA) Rotation: 2 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off or 3 Weeks On / 1 Week OffPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced DCS Engineer to support offshore oil and gas operations off the coast of Santa Barbara. This role focuses on maintaining, programming, and optimizing distributed control systems in a live production environment. The position operates on a rotational offshore schedule and offers consistent long‑term work with travel fully covered.This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong hands‑on DCS experience who enjoys working offshore and troubleshooting critical control systems in real time.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, modify, and troubleshoot control logic within DeltaV or INFI90 DCS platformsSupport ongoing operations, including system optimization and performance improvementsDiagnose and resolve control system issues impacting production and safetyInterface with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams offshoreSupport system upgrades, testing, and implementation activitiesParticipate in commissioning and validation of control system changesEnsure all work aligns with operational, safety, and regulatory requirementsQualifications5+ years of experience working with DCS systems in oil & gas or industrial environmentsStrong hands‑on experience with Emerson DeltaV and/or INFI90 systems (required)Experience working in offshore or remote industrial environments is highly preferredSolid understanding of process control, instrumentation, and system integrationStrong troubleshooting skills in live production environmentsAbility to work independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teamsSchedule & TravelRotational schedule: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off or 3 weeks on / 1 week offOffshore work environment located off the coast of Santa BarbaraAll travel and flights are fully coveredCompensation$80+ per hour, depending on experience and system expertiseConsistent rotational work with strong earning potential
