Employees learn to transport prisoners from State, County, City and courthouse institutions, provide protection for courthouse, judicial staff, and public safety for all judicial facilities, and maintain custody of prisoners during legal proceedings. Positions in this class serve in a training capacity learning and pursuing certification in the methods and techniques and developing the abilities necessary to perform both criminal and civil enforcement and to serve legal documents and enforcement of laws as outlined in C.S. Candidates must submit a copy of their service letter to the staff member listed on the announcement if they wish for their eligibility to be reviewed.
