Ideal Candidate Profile

A recognized PLM industry high-energy seller with deep PTC relationships, proven Fortune 1000 access, strong Industry 4.0 and Digital Engineering credentials, and a demonstrated track record of creating and closing multi-million-dollar transformational deals through executive-led engagement and strategic value selling.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly driven, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented PLM Sales Hunter to drive large-scale Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) services growth across North America.

This strategic business development role will focus on new logo acquisition and strategic account expansion through transformational PLM engagements centered around PTC Windchill, while leveraging opportunities across Siemens Teamcenter, Dassault ENOVIA, Aras, and other PLM ecosystems.

The ideal candidate should be a proven rainmaker with deep relationships across Engineering, Manufacturing, Digital Transformation, Product Development, and IT organizations within large industrial enterprises. The candidate must be comfortable engaging at the C-Suite level and have a proven ability to create, shape, and close large transformation programs valued at $5M-$10M+ TCV annually.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue & Pipeline Growth

  • Own new business development and hunting efforts across US industrial, manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, energy, medical device, and high-tech sectors.
  • Create and execute strategic account plans targeting Fortune 1000 and Global 2000 organizations.
  • Build and maintain a qualified pipeline capable of supporting annual bookings targets exceeding $10M-$20M.
  • Consistently originate and close 1-2 large transformational deals annually, each valued at $5M-$10M+ TCV.
  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from opportunity creation through deal closure.

Build and leverage trusted relationships with:

Collaborate with practice leaders, alliance managers, architects, and delivery teams to develop compelling transformation roadmaps.

Partner & Alliance Ecosystem
Build strong go-to-market relationships with:

  • Prime Partner: PTC

Drive joint pipeline creation and co-sell motions with strategic partners.

Market Development

  • Represent the organization at industry conferences, executive roundtables, user groups, and partner events.
  • Develop account intelligence, competitive positioning, and strategic pursuit plans for large opportunities.
  • Act as a thought leader in Digital Engineering, Industry 4.0, and Product Innovation.
Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 15+ years of enterprise technology sales experience.
  • 10+ years of experience selling PLM, Engineering Transformation, Digital Engineering, Manufacturing, or Industry 4.0 solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience selling PTC-centric programs and services.
  • Proven ability to originate and close large transformation programs valued at $5M-$10M+.
  • Strong understanding of PLM implementation, migration, modernization, cloud transformation, and managed services.

  • Prior experience primarily with PTC and/or other PLM ecosystems such as Siemens, Dassault, or Aras, or experience with a leading PLM services organization.
  • Experience selling Digital Engineering, Product Development Transformation, Product Engineering Services, and Smart Manufacturing.
  • Strong relationships within the PTC ecosystem.
  • MBA or equivalent business qualification preferred.
