Join our team of energetic professionals who believe in many happy hours and are experts in our craft.<br><br><strong>Summary<br><br></strong>RNDC is looking for talented and energetic District Managers of Inside Sales to join our growing Sales team. The District Manager leads a team of Inside Sales Representatives to achieve wine and spirits revenue and sales volume, and effectively builds customer relationships.<br><br><strong><strong>In this role, you will<br><br></strong></strong><ul><li>Develop, train, and direct sales reps to achieve sales goals, and placement objectives and to ensure company standards are met.</li><li>May conduct strategic sales negotiations with key accounts.</li><li>Set up schedules and appointments to obtain new accounts and to service existing accounts.</li><li>Survey market area to detect business trends and opportunities for new products or new applications for existing products.</li><li>Ensure execution of team quotas and orders.</li><li>Assist in the development of sales forecasts. Plan for sales activities by forecasting conditions, defining objectives and strategies, and securing resources.</li><li>Control and manage sales performance by measuring and reporting results, evaluating, and correcting performance and administering policies and procedures.</li><li>Organize team by structuring the territories, delegating work, and staffing positions.</li><li>Provide leadership in making decisions, developing personnel, communicating with, and motivating staff.</li><li>Plan and execute sales and promotional activities that effectively counter competitive trends by establishing goals for individual territories, and distribution standards for brands.</li><li>Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of competition.</li><li>Conduct weekly sales meetings for the purpose of disseminating supplier information, product, and sales training and to obtain feedback on the effectiveness, efficiency and relevance of the sales and promotional activities.</li><li>Prepare and maintain required paperwork, reports, and records.</li><li>Manage selling expenses to authorized levels.</li><li>Manage territory when an inside sales rep is on vacation.</li><li>Prepare and execute appropriate promotions.</li><li>Job duties include working nights and weekends on promotional activities and other account activities.<br><br></li></ul><strong><strong>What you bring to RNDC<br><br></strong></strong>Four-year college degree, preferred; one to two years of management experience in adult beverage industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software and order processing systems or the aptitude to learn. Requires a current, valid state driver's license, ability to meet vehicle insurance requirements as defined by the Company and Alcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) License, as required by the state.
