Join the Team: Coca Cola's Data Protection Compliance Executive Coca Cola is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Protection Compliance Executive to join their team in a hybrid remote role based in Mexico City. As a key member of the technology team, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing technology projects related to data protection, defining and maintaining processes to ensure compliance with applicable data protection regulations, and monitoring legislative changes that may impact IT operations. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and implement technology projects related to data protection, including the development of strategies and systems for data protection management. Define, implement, and maintain processes to ensure compliance with applicable data protection regulations, including monitoring and adapting to changing legislative requirements. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to monitor legislative changes and implement necessary adjustments to IT operations. Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including IT teams, legal teams, and senior management. Provide guidance and training to employees on data protection best practices and regulatory requirements. Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement in data protection. Develop and implement metrics and reporting to measure data protection compliance and effectiveness. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 7-10 years of experience in defining and managing data protection strategies and systems, including the implementation of technological enablers. 5-7 years of experience in implementing IT projects, with a focus on data protection and compliance. Certifications in data protection and compliance, such as ISO 27701, CIPT, CIPM, CIPP, CDPSE, or PMP, are highly desirable. Strong knowledge of data protection models and frameworks, including PCI, SOX, NIST, ISO 27001, and COBIT. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners. Intermediate to advanced English language skills. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field. Additional certifications in data protection and compliance. Experience working in a hybrid or remote environment. Knowledge of agile methodologies and project management principles. Skills and Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data protection regulations and implement effective solutions.
