Berkshire Hathaway GUARD is looking for a summer Intern to join our Learning & Development team and play an active role in shaping modern, engaging learning experiences. This is a hands-on opportunity to apply what you’re learning in school to real-world projects that will be used across the organization. What You’ll Do: As a Learning & Development Intern, you’ll contribute to two exciting projects: Gamification & Learning Design Create gamification templates that can be embedded into training programs Explore creative ways to boost learner motivation, participation, and retention Help turn training into an interactive experience employees actually enjoy Instructional Design & Content Redesign Support the redesign of existing PowerPoint training materials Apply instructional design and adult learning principles to improve engagement Transform static slides into interactive, learner‑focused experiences You’ll collaborate with experienced HR and L&D professionals and gain exposure to best practices in corporate learning and development. Your work will directly support employees’ growth and development. Requirements

  • Enrollment in a four-year degree program for Education, Human Resources, Marketing
  • Creative mindset with an eye for visual design and learner engagement
  • Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint (experience with digital learning tools is a plus!)
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written communication skills
