Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor Associate to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential mental health support to individuals, facilitating healing and personal growth. You will work in a collaborative environment, focusing on patient care and employing various therapeutic techniques to address diverse mental health issues.

The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in crisis management, counseling both children and adults, and patient assessment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual counseling sessions to support clients in their mental health journey.
  • Provide grief counseling and emotional support to individuals facing loss or significant life changes.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Assess patients' needs through comprehensive evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a hospital or clinical setting to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Familiar with Therapy notes a plus
  • Facilitate case management services to coordinate care and resources for clients.
Requirements
  • Valid state licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC A) is required.
  • Experience in individual counseling is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of grief counseling techniques and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in SOAP documentation practices related to patient care.
  • Demonstrated ability in crisis management and effective communication skills.
  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all client interactions.
