<strong>Job Description<br><br></strong>As a <em><strong>Machinist - Level 2</strong></em> here at <strong>Honeywell</strong>, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machine tools to produce precision parts that meet quality standards. Your role is essential in supporting the manufacturing process and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of machining operations.<br><br>You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Urbana, OH location on an On-site work schedule.<br><br>In this role, you will impact the production quality and reliability of aerospace components, contributing to Honeywell's commitment to excellence in the aerospace industry.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li> Operate and maintain various machine tools such as lathes, mills, and grinders to produce precision parts.</li><li> Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure parts meet required tolerances and standards.</li><li> Perform quality inspections and adjustments to maintain product quality and adherence to safety protocols.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong>Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.<br><br><strong>YOU MUST HAVE<br><br></strong><ul><li> Proven experience in operating and programming CNC machines and manual machine tools.</li><li> Strong knowledge of machining techniques, tooling, and materials used in aerospace manufacturing.</li><li> Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.</li><li> Experience with precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.<br><br></li></ul><strong>WE VALUE<br><br></strong><ul><li> 3+ years of experience in machining, preferably in aerospace or related industries.</li><li> Familiarity with safety standards and quality control processes in manufacturing.</li><li> Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow detailed instructions.</li><li> Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Benefits Of Working For Honeywell<br><br></strong>In addition to a competitive salary, leading-edge work, and developing solutions side-by-side with dedicated experts in their fields, Honeywell employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
