About Expert Radiology:

We are a leading radiology services provider, dedicated to offering accurate and timely diagnostic solutions to healthcare institutions. Our team works cohesively to ensure smooth operations and superior patient care.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Transcriptionist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in transcriptions focused in radiology, with familiarity in working with RamSoft, Infinitt, foot pedal transcription equipment and most of all availability during the weekend.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transcribe medical reports, summaries, and other medical documents from recorded messages.
  • Review and edit drafts ensuring the accuracy of medical terminology and adherence to report format.
  • Utilize foot pedal and macro system efficiently.
  • Coordinate with medical staff for clarification of any unclear or vague information.
  • Ensure all transcription reports and patient records are kept confidential.

Must have qualifications and requirements:

  • Availability to work/train from Monday to Friday
  • Must be able to commit to a full-time schedule aligned with Eastern Time (EST)
  • Must not be currently employed full-time and able to fully dedicate to this role
  • Proven experience as a Radiology Medical Transcriptionist (5+ years required)
  • Foot pedal transcription equipment and computer required
  • Strong typing speed with exceptional accuracy
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and treatments
  • Proficient computer skills with a reliable computer and high-quality headset
  • Detail-oriented with strong multitasking ability
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines

Experience:

  • Radiology transcription: 5 years minimum (Required)

Candidates that do not meet the qualifications and experience will be disregarded.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $3,000.00 - $6,000.00 per month
