Personal Assistant (Part-Time)
to support our Director in streamlining operations and driving marketing to attract clients. Ideal for a retired or semi-retired professional with organizational skills and an interest in technology, this role offers flexible hours and the chance to shape a growing AI startup. Youornt? Youll help organize tasks, enhance marketing, and lay the groundwork for client growth.
Responsibilities
Organization : Manage the Director7s schedule, arrange morning meetings near KL MRT/LRT stations, and coordinate projects for AI micro data center deployments.
Marketing : Create content for mydatasys.com (e.g., case studies, blogs), manage LinkedIn/X posts, and develop materials to target clients in banking, finance, and SMEs.
Client Outreach : Draft emails, schedule demos, and follow up on leads to secure client contracts.
Administration : Handle emails, document client needs, and use tools like Trello or Notion for project management.
Tech Engagement : Learn basic AI/LLM concepts to communicate our green AI mission effectively.
Requirements
Proven organizational skills, with experience managing schedules or projects (5+ years preferred).
Basic marketing experience (e.g., social media, content creation, email outreach).
Enthusiasm for technology, ideally with exposure to IT (e.g., mainframes, networking, or software).
Part-time commitment: ~20 hours/week (morning meetings near Cheras, Maluri, or KL Sentral MRT/LRT; remote afternoons).
Must be able to meet face to face around KL
weekly, preferably using public transport.
Retired/semi-retired professionals preferred, with administrative, marketing, or IT experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, LinkedIn, and basic CRM tools.
Bonus: Background in banking, finance, or Lotus Notes; interest in AI or green tech.
Must be fluent in Mandarin with some Cantonese knowledge and must speak Bahasa Malayu.
Salary : Around MYR /month for ~20 hours/week (~MYR /year), with potential for bonuses or 0.5-1% equity as the business grows.
