Job Title: Order Entry Pharmacy Technician
Pay: $18.50/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10:30am-7pm

As an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician, you'll play a vital role in supporting pharmacy operations with precision and professionalism. You'll collaborate closely with pharmacists, pharmacy staff, and management to ensure medication orders are processed accurately and efficiently while maintaining patient safety, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.

Candidates must hold an active Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician license.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active Registered Pharmacy Technician license with the State of Florida
• Preferred – national certification (CPhT)
• Minimum of one year of pharmacy experience
What You'll Do
As an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Executing routine pharmacy tasks in alignment with standard operating procedures
• Safeguarding protected health information (PHI) and ensuring compliance with federal privacy laws
• Authenticating patients by cross-referencing demographic information before order entry
• Reviewing medication orders carefully for accuracy prior to fulfillment
• Creating, managing, and maintaining accurate electronic patient profiles
• Following organizational standards and procedures to ensure quality and safety
• Performing quality assurance checks before medications are dispatched
• Completing administrative and operational tasks as assigned by management
