Responsibilities:

  • This is a virtual, customer-facing role; you will be using our state-of-the-art video communication software to interact with customers. You'll have access to our virtual tools and resources, as well as opportunities to collaborate with experts and provide updates on assigned customers. These roles can crossover to other services provided at times requiring flexibility and comfort in both dynamics.
  • Using your in-depth bookkeeping/accounting knowledge, evaluate and manage client calls with high attention to detail and with the ability to quickly access exactly what is needed to process all client work for our service agreement.
  • Meet highly efficient deadlines and have the ability to quickly process all client work per our service agreement.
  • Creates high quality customer interactions and experiences that instill confidence using deep customer empathy, and your deep knowledge and expertise in the customer-facing role.
  • Evaluate/manage complex bookkeeping problems, such as financial statements eros, chart of accounts cleanup, sales tax issues, unsolved A/P and/or A/R, payroll issues, merchant services, and 3rd party interaction concerns/questions.
  • Utilize strong organizational skills to ensure client follow up and communication is executed timely.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and workpapers.
  • Perform domain expert services (bookkeeping/accounting).
  • Review information input by customers for accuracy.
  • Research regulations to support guidance.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 3+ years bookkeeping/accounting experience.
  • This position requires QuickBooks Online knowledge, a minimum of 1 year of experience working within QuickBooks Online.
  • Degree: 4-year degree preferred
  • Credentials/Certifications: QuickBooks Online Pro Certification Required. CPA and/or CPB is preferred. The expert must have this certification prior to starting work on Intuit's account.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with technology; solid knowledge of computer operations and software.
  • Must have (or be willing to obtain) a dedicated high speed (DSL, cable, Fiber) internet connection.
  • High degree of customer service skills - ability to interact with customers through video and audio tools in a way that is professional, friendly, and reassuring.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced virtual environment with minimal supervision.
  • Critical thinking, problem solving, and determination.
