What to Expect The role of the Regional Sales Trainer is pivotal in delivering on-site training to specific locations within the region, with a primary focus refining the sales process, and enhancing the sales and overall customer experience skills of Tesla Advisors. These efforts are geared towards positively impacting sales KPIs.

Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, the Regional Sales Trainer collaborates closely with the Learning & Development Team to effectively execute strategies that align with Tesla’s mission of accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable energy. The ideal candidate for this position should be proactive, well-organized, adaptable, results-oriented, and above all, dedicated to cultivating the professional development of others.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with Territory Director, Regional Sales Managers, Sales Managers, and Training Team to identify training needs
  • Co-create site-specific learning plans and recommendations in close coordination with the Training Team, ensuring alignment with readiness targets and associated business metrics and provide on-site support for performance enhancement or onboarding as required
  • Conduct in-depth assessments of sales skills and techniques, delivering on-site training and coaching tailored to specific behaviors with the aim of influencing KPIs
  • Provide coaching that emphasizes the Tesla Sales process and systems, amplifying their effectiveness and efficiency
  • Champion a customer-centric approach, coaching individuals toward behaviors that drive exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Effectively communicate and furnish reports detailing observed behaviors, coaching opportunities, and actionable recommendations to the Training Team and Leadership Team
  • Express expert understanding of Tesla products, processes, and tools
What You'll Bring
  • Experience as a level TA3 or higher, and demonstrated track record of exceptional performance as a top-ranking Tesla Advisor
  • Demonstrated ability to create an exceptional customer-centric experience
  • Dedicated to coaching and developing team members and the ability to lead complex problem-solving activities and initiatives
  • Cultivating collaborative relationships, effectively serve as a partner and consultant to regional leadership and staff, and make valuable contributions to cross-functional teams
  • Maintain a robust knowledge base and extensive practical experience in Tesla products, sales processes, and systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite and learning technologies
  • Must have a valid driver’s license in country of employment and valid passport is preferred, up to 75% travel

Expected Compensation $79,800 - $136,800/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
