The Opportunity

  • As a Release Train Engineer for the AGIS Release Train, you will be working closely with government product owners, business analysts, scrum masters, and the System Team to ensure that stakeholders needs are properly prioritized and executed, and the development processes are efficient and effective.
  • You will be a key member of the leadership team, doing work that matters for some of the U.S. Government’s most critical missions, and utilizing the latest technologies in Cloud Computing, AI/ML, and SecDevOps.
  • Identifies, tracks, and mitigates program-level risks and cross-team dependencies, working closely with stakeholders to prioritize features and ensure smooth integration and delivery of value.
  • Monitors key performance indicators such as PI objectives, flow metrics, and risks; communicates status to stakeholders and leadership to support informed decision-making and risk mitigation.
  • Coordinates and manages deployments/releases across the AGIS Release train with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate ongoing ceremonies during the program increment, such as Scrum of Scrums, Backlog Refinement, and PO Syncs
  • Coach Release Train Engineers and Scrum masters on Agile processes and foster Continuous Improvement
  • Remove and/or Escalate impediments to progress, and foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Facilitate PI Planning Events including Pre and Post-PI Planning
  • Communicate/Coordinate with External Stakeholders

Qualifications

Required:

  • TS/SCI Clearance
  • Prior experience with Agile Development and/or Scrum
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills
  • Ability to work with and lead large integrated team of teams
  • Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment
  • Understanding of all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle

Desired:

  • Proven ability to increase a teams efficiency by implementing process changes
  • Experience with SAFe Agile Methodologies
  • Background in Software Development, AI/ML, SecDevOps support toward government programs
  • Experience with software delivery management practices
  • Experience identifying, tracking, and mitigating program-level risks and cross-team dependencies

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The Proposed Salary Range For This Position Is $105,100-$231,100
