Robbins Rehabilitation West Full-time | Monday-Friday | Work from

When someone calls Robbins Rehabilitation West, they may be in pain, frustrated, nervous, or unsure of what to do next. You will be the first person they speak with. As our Remote Patient Access & Scheduling Specialist , you will create an exceptional first impression, help callers understand their next steps, and turn new patient inquiries into scheduled appointments. This is not a traditional call-center position. You will be an important part of a locally owned, award-winning physical therapy practice that has helped people throughout the Lehigh Valley recover from injury and return to the activities they love for more than 23 years. Our five offices share one centralized phone and scheduling team, allowing this position to be performed from home. What You Will Do Your primary responsibilities will include: Answering incoming calls for all five Robbins Rehabilitation West locations Creating a warm, helpful, and professional experience for every caller Helping prospective patients schedule their initial evaluation Following up with patients who have expressed interest but have not yet scheduled Completing reminder calls for new patient appointments and free injury screens Rescheduling canceled visits and helping patients remain consistent with their treatment plans Completing new patient intake information accurately Creating new patient cases in our electronic medical record system Working closely with our insurance verification and authorization team Contacting physician offices when prescriptions or documentation are needed Logging, organizing, and distributing calls and messages to the appropriate team members What Success Looks Like You will be successful in this position when: Callers feel heard, cared for, and confident in choosing our practice New patient inquiries are consistently converted into scheduled appointments Patient information is entered accurately and completely Follow-up tasks are completed promptly Communication between patients, clinics, and administrative departments runs smoothly Patients receive clear answers and know exactly what to do next The Right Person for This Position You may be a great fit if you are: Warm, patient, and confident on the phone Comfortable guiding conversations and asking someone to schedule Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities Detail-oriented when entering patient and insurance information Dependable when working independently from home Calm and solutions-focused when callers are upset or confused Comfortable learning new technology and software Able to communicate clearly with patients, coworkers, and physician offices Motivated by measurable goals and improving your performance Interested in building a long-term career with a growing healthcare organization Previous experience in healthcare administration, medical scheduling, patient access, customer service, or a high-volume phone position is preferred. Work-From-Home Requirements Because this is a remote position, you must have: A quiet and professional workspace Reliable high-speed internet The ability to remain focused and productive throughout the workday A dependable history of attendance and punctuality The ability to protect confidential patient information This is a full-time remote position supporting our Lehigh Valley offices. Occasional in-person training or meetings may be required. Schedule Monday through Thursday - 9 hours =36 hours either 7:30 to 4:30 or 8:00 to 5:00.
Friday:
4 hours, 7:30 to 11:30 or 8:00 to 12:00 Final schedule will be based on the needs of the practice and the applicant.
