<strong>Job Description<br><br></strong>As a Senior Content Marketing Specialist, you will lead and support the creation and optimization of high-impact content across multiple industries. This role blends hands-on writing and editing, SEO optimization, and content strategy development, with a strong focus on brand voice consistency and best-in-class content standards across both digital and print channels. You will work closely with strategic marketing partners and cross-functional teams to translate complex products, services, and solutions into clear, compelling, and audience-focused content that drives awareness, engagement, and demand.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Collaborate with key contacts for implementation and communication of marketing campaigns and sales enablement from concept development to finished product, including development of marketing deliverables such as social and digital campaigns, as well as traditional marketing such as direct mailers, brochures, flyers, catalog pages, etc.</li><li>Develop, recommend, and execute B2B content strategies aligned to business objectives, buyer personas, and channel-specific best practices.</li><li>Optimize web content for SEO, including keyword research, on-page optimization, metadata, internal linking, and content structure. </li><li>Apply web writing best practices, including scannability, accessibility fundamentals, and user-focused content design</li><li>Monitor customer engagement and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of marketing campaigns and provide insight on how to improve or expand marketing campaigns..</li><li>Assist with research and analysis activities such as web metrics/trend analysis and tracking, competitive web site/eCommerce monitoring, customer research, and competitor research.</li><li>Support sales and marketing needs of sales and supplier product groups at global, national, regional, and local levels.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or relevant industry preferred.</li><li>4 to 5 years required, 6 years preferred of product, solution or field marketing experience, preferably in Fortune 500 company.</li><li>Marketing strategy and implementation, including a working knowledge of multi-channel marketing and associated best practices.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, combined with an ability to communicate clearly and succinctly to internal and external groups.</li><li>Highly organized and detail oriented, with a customer-centric focus and commitment to quality.</li><li>Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to spot questionable information or unusual data trends, combined with a disciplined problem-solving process that applies conceptual thinking to identify root cause(s) and provide appropriate solution(s).</li><li>Able to spot new and evaluate existing business opportunities, including the ability to ask good questions, look beyond the obvious, and see the “big picture.”</li><li>Strong mathematical and computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), working knowledge and at least basic- to intermediate-level HTML or WordPress skills.</li><li>Strong creativity, out-of-the-box thinking, and entrepreneurial drive; able to work with autonomy and self-direction.</li><li>Able to influence others through effective negotiation techniques and strong interpersonal skills, meet deadlines, and deliver results.<br><br></li></ul>Compensation Details: $74,285 - $118,856 Annually<br><br>This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.<br><br>For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.<br><br>In addition, Wesco offers a benefits program for eligible employees, which may include paid time off, medical, dental, and vision coverage, and retirement savings plans.
