Works as part of a technologically diverse team whose mission is to provide architecture, design, configuration, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support for public and private cloud implementations, including compute, storage and related systems and services. Designs, builds, implements, and maintains systems and software applications including programs and scripts in multi-vendor environment. What You’ll Be Doing: • Design, build, implement, and maintain systems and software applications across multi-vendor environments, demonstrating expertise in various technologies. • Develop innovative tools and processes to facilitate automated deployment and monitoring of public and private cloud infrastructure and applications, driving efficiency and reliability. • Lead and/or execute project activities for teams of engineers for assigned projects. • Lead efforts to evaluate new and existing software, systems, technologies, and processes, optimizing workflows and enhancing productivity. • Take a leading engineering role in supporting architectural design and implementation efforts, contributing valuable insights and expertise. • Architect methodologies of automation and orchestration using existing or new tools such as Cloud Formation, Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, and common scripting languages among others. • Ensure high availability of supported environments, meeting or exceeding defined requirements and service level agreements, through proactive monitoring and optimization. • Take primary responsibility for collaboration with various teams to troubleshoot and optimize production systems, services, and applications, ensuring seamless operations. • Lead efforts to evaluate new and existing software, systems, technologies and processes to optimize workflows. • Will direct some day-to-day activities and serve as a mentor for other engineers, sharing knowledge and expertise to foster professional growth and development. • Create detailed status reports and documentation on systems and projects, ensuring they meet compliance, audit, and security standards • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team and organization. You Need to Have: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/information technology or equivalent experience. • Strong background in DevOps, system administration, software development or adjacent role. • Demonstrable expertise in software build and deployment pipelines. • Strong background in cybersecurity as it pertains to DevOps and CI/CD. • 10+ years of related experience or commensurate skills, including at least 3 years of experience in one or more of the following technologies: public cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, software development, scripting, infrastructure-as-code, container technology, Linux and/or Windows environments.
