Overview

Senior Sales and Operations Specialist Mobile at Cox Communications. The role focuses on inventory management, loss prevention, merchandising, and operational success, with attention to supply chain management and in‑stock efficiency. The position requires working retail store hours including some evenings, weekends, and holidays, reporting to the Store Manager and taking guidance from the Assistant Store Manager. Occasional duties as Manager on Duty include opening/closing the store and coaching other sales representatives. You will serve as the product knowledge and inventory expert for the store.

What You\'ll Do

  • Ensure inventory accuracy by performing activities such as inventory cycle counts, stock replenishment, and store audits
  • Merchandise the store in accordance with planogram and corporate guidelines
  • Manage inventory including store‑to‑store transfers, returns, and receiving
  • Assist with special event execution including marketing support and inventory planning
  • Assess escalated wireless issues and provide solutions for technical problems and questions
  • Support post‑purchase onboarding, device activation, and content transfers for wireless sales
  • Coordinate in‑store pickup of online orders and address return/exchange related issues
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain Management for order fulfillment and variance requests
  • Stay current with new products and technologies by attending necessary trainings
  • Assist with guiding accessory performance and sales
  • Contribute to achieving store sales and retention targets
  • Provide ongoing coaching to Solutions Specialists, act as a product knowledge expert, and be a resource to all store employees
  • Open and close the store as needed to serve as manager on duty when the Store Manager, Senior Sales Rep, or ASM is not on duty

Who You Are

Minimum:
  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years\' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and up to 1 year of experience; or 5 years\' experience in a related field
Preferred:
  • Previous experience with store operational duties
  • Experience selling Wireless/Mobile products highly preferred
  • Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken
  • Leadership experience is ideal
  • Ability to multi‑task and prioritize in a service‑oriented, fast‑paced team environment
  • Ability to be mobile within the store to assist with troubleshooting and device activation
  • Computer literacy with an aptitude for learning communication products, services, and accessories
  • Ability to lift 25‑50 pounds to help manage stock room inventory

Compensation: $20.63 - $30.91 per hour. The hourly rate may vary within the anticipated range based on location and candidate experience. This role is eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $11,376.00.

Benefits: Employees are eligible for paid time off and holidays, with additional leave options such as bereavement, voting, jury duty, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
