    • Maintain consistency across all listings (NAP, descriptions, categories, services, etc.)
  • Lead directory verification efforts to ensure listings are trusted, indexed, and eligible for visibility in search engines and LLMs
  • Optimize listings for local SEO performance and entity recognition
  • Conduct citation building across top platforms (e.g., Google Business Profile, Apple Maps, Yelp, Yellow Pages, Facebook), as well as niche and competitor citations
  • Perform citation audits and cleanup to identify and resolve inconsistencies across existing listings
  • Monitor and update directory profiles regularly to maintain accuracy and completeness
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather required attorney and firm information
  • Track progress and maintain documentation of directory submissions, verifications, and statuses
  • Support off-page SEO initiatives, including reputation management and citation expansion
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for backlinks, brand mentions, and AI/LLM citations

Skills & Requirements:

  • Familiarity with citation and listings platforms such as Yext, Chatmeter, Whitespark, or similar tools
  • Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Google Search Console
  • Experience with Reddit engagement and optimization strategies
  • Experience posting on Quora and other forums for visibility and traffic
  • Familiarity with link outreach and digital PR
  • Understanding of how user-generated content platforms influence SEO and AI/LLM visibility
  • Experience working with legal directories such as Avvo, FindLaw, and Justia

What Success Looks Like

  • High volume of verified, accurate, and optimized directory listings
  • Strong citation consistency and entity trust signals across the web
  • Increased visibility in local search results and AI/LLM-generated responses
  • Growth in referral traffic and brand mentions from directory sources
  • Consistent ownership and execution of off-page SEO initiatives
