Who We Are

Our goal at Union Fitness is to anticipate and exceed the expectations of our clients in meeting their health and wellness goals. We want trainers/coaches from diverse backgrounds that are excited about the opportunity to help clients overcome challenges and feel better about themselves while monitoring and quantifying their progress to keep them as valuable members of our facility.

Primary Job Functions

  • Meet with clients to introduce the facility, learn their personal fitness goals and customize a program that best fits their expectations. Modify it as needed.
  • Conduct client screenings, using established protocol and track body composition monthly.
  • Work one-on-one with Clients or lead established group training programs, modifying client movements as needed.
  • Provide clients with health and fitness education that will empower them to lead healthier lives.
  • Maintain and update programs, keeping programs updated at least two weeks in advance
  • Encourage clean and tidy gym etiquette with clients/class participants
  • Report and perform maintenance on equipment as needed
  • Make your presence known on the floor- enforcing UF rules and regulations in a professional manner
  • Have a flexible schedule to fill in for group training and personal training sessions (AM and PM)

Qualifications

  • Personal Training certification from a nationally accredited organization.
  • First-Aid & CPR certified
  • Previous personal training experience
  • Maintains Personal liability insurance

Requirements:

  • Strong and effective communication skills verbally, in writing and technically
  • Ability to work with all kinds of clients and understand their personal needs
  • Ability to sell Union Fitness facility, programs and fitness training
  • Represent Union Fitness at Fundraisers and Events
  • Ability to train Clients, conduct group sessions or be present during various times of the day to accommodate client schedules.

This is a Independent Contractor position paying $25 per class and $30 per client session
