Schedule: Monday - Friday between 8am - 8pm EST, Saturdays between 9am - 5:30pm EST + expanded hours during open enrolment that include Sundays.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

As a Market Option Advisor (MA), you will be responsible for:

  • Handle inbound calls from customers who may qualify for Marketplace ACA plans and/or private insurance products
  • Discuss individual health plan options with customers
  • Quote health plans and provide recommendations based on each customer's needs
  • Complete applications by phone and assist customers with electronic signatures as needed
  • Respond to customer voicemails and emails in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Support the launch and pilot of new products for Direct Agency Sales
  • Actively contribute to team meetings
  • Share sales best practices with the team
  • Review sales results with the team
  • Maintain current knowledge of portfolio products
  • Review changes in the individual health market
  • Discuss relevant changes and updates as they arise
  • Make outbound follow-up calls to support sales and retention efforts
  • Update CRM records with relevant call details
  • Adhere to all compliance requirements and regulations
  • Adhere to the daily schedule using IEX, including lunch and break periods
  • Participate in scheduled one-on-one meetings, coaching sessions, and ongoing training opportunities

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to work independently and remain productive in a remote/work-from-home environment
  • Ability to quickly navigate multiple systems simultaneously
  • Health and Life license in the resident state, or the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
  • Ability to obtain and maintain license appointments and certifications in the markets served
  • Ability to obtain and maintain FFM Certification and State-Based Exchange Certifications annually
  • Ability to become broadly certified across most U.S. states
  • Ability to become broadly appointed across multiple insurance carriers
  • Ability to work any hours during which the department is open

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years sales experience with documented success

  • College degree

  • Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Office applications

  • Demonstrated ability in using computer and Windows PC applications including strong keyboard and navigation skills, and learning new computer programs

  • Ability to multi-task, including the ability to navigate a computer while speaking on the telephone

  • Ability to develop an understanding of our multiple products and the levels of benefits within each product

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $24.04 per hour based on full-time employment. This role is also eligible to receive bonuses based on sales performance. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
