The principles and drills of the CANOO Way have been fundamental to our success, our ability to grow, continuously improve, innovate and are at the core of our day-to-day operations.<br><br><strong>Job Purpose<br><br></strong>Canoo Technologies Inc. is seeking a dedicated and professional Unarmed Night Shift Security Officer to join our team at our vehicle manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security, with prior experience in military police or law enforcement being a plus. Experience in a corporate security environment is preferred.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities (80s Of The Position)<br><br></strong><ul><li>Monitor and manage entry and exit points to ensure the safety and security of the facility.</li><li>Conduct regular patrols and surveillance to detect and deter potential security threats.</li><li>Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, coordinating with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.</li><li>Enforce company policies and procedures, including safety regulations and confidentiality agreements.</li><li>Utilize Microsoft suite of tools for reporting and communication purposes.</li><li>Maintain a professional demeanor and provide assistance to employees and visitors as needed.</li><li>Multi-task effectively to manage various security responsibilities simultaneously.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Experience<br><br></strong><ul><li>Proficient in Microsoft suite of tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).</li><li>Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.</li><li>CLEET armed/unarmed license preferred.</li><li>Ability to multi-task and handle various responsibilities efficiently.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Experience <br><br></strong><ul><li>Prior military police or law enforcement experience is a plus.</li><li>Experience in a corporate security environment is preferred.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Travel Requirements<br><br></strong><ul><li> List any travel requirements for the role<br><br></li></ul><strong>Physical Requirements For Physical Positions<br><br></strong>While performing the duties of this job, employees may be required to lift up to 25 or more pounds, stand, sit, bend/stoop, or operate office equipment or machinery.
