The Engine Behind Global Travel Loyalty

Travel platforms don’t fail on the flashy stuff; they fail on the infrastructure underneath. At arrivia, we power the travel and rewards platforms for brands you know, like American Express, T-Mobile, and Marriott Vacations. We are building the intelligent operating system for travel-powered loyalty, combining global supply with Agentic AI to turn everyday brands into extraordinary experience providers.

Why This Role Matters

You will own the foundational systems that make arrivia’s travel experience actually work: loyalty and membership, multi-language/currency support, payments processing, and the CMS powering every partner’s digital storefront. This role sits at the intersection of deep software development and broad product impact, ensuring our platform scales seamlessly as we expand into new global geographies.

What You’ll Accomplish

  • Platform Consolidation: Lead the migration of legacy systems onto a single, modern arrivia platform to enable rapid partner onboarding.
  • Global Velocity: Build a CMS that empowers Marketing to manage content independently while enabling Engineering to unlock new international markets in weeks, not months.
  • AI-First Transformation: Drive the integration of AI tooling into the software development lifecycle to transform how we build, test, and ship software.
  • Operational Excellence: Establish non-negotiable SLOs for uptime, latency, and data integrity across all core services.

Benefits & Perks

  • Exclusive Travel Perks: Access to our private travel marketplace with deeply discounted rates on cruises, resorts, and hotels.
  • Comprehensive Health: Robust Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plans.
  • Future Planning: 401(k) with company matching.
  • Global Connectivity: A remote-friendly or hybrid culture that values "Winning Together" across US and international time zones.
  • Innovation-Driven Culture: We are a team of curious, honest, and action-oriented builders who believe in bringing our whole selves to work every day.

Qualifications

  • Leadership: 12+ years in software engineering with 7+ years leading teams (including 3+ years managing other managers).
  • Technical Depth: Proven track record operating platform services at scale (payments, loyalty, or financial services) in multi-tenant environments.
  • Architectural Vision: Deep understanding of API-first design, service-oriented architecture, and "platform-as-a-product" thinking.
  • AI Experience: Experience building AI-powered products or leading teams through AI-driven engineering transformations.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with the Azure cloud ecosystem (.NET), PCI compliance, and internationalization (i18n).

As we invest in Agentic AI and next-gen booking technology, we are looking for builders to help us redefine how the world travels.
