The Warehouse Supervisor must be proactive, self-motivated, and team-oriented, with strong attention to detail. This position will manage 12–20 employees. Previous supervisory or management experience is required.

Work Environment

  • Morning Shift — Weekend coverage required (1 Vacancy)
  • Evening Shift — Weekend coverage required (1 Vacancy)

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to ensure efficient coordination and execution of workflow throughout the warehouse, consistently prioritizing safety, sanitation, cost control, productivity, accuracy, teamwork, and customer satisfaction in line with facility goals.
  • Oversee inventory control functions and procedures, including cycle counts, product rotation and recall, training, customer claims and requests, and record keeping.
  • Provide hands-on leadership in the ongoing development of assigned personnel and teams.
  • Maximize the utilization of all USCS warehouse support systems and tools, including RF equipment, and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all warehouse sanitation, safety, and security activities are performed in full compliance with USCS, OSHA, government regulations, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with Management and Customer Service to ensure all requirements and requests are handled in a highly professional manner.
  • Optimize warehouse activities to meet established financial goals, making recommendations to the Administrator and Plant Manager for operational or capital improvements.
  • Develop strong working relationships at all levels within the USCS team, providing leadership and communication to support individual and team performance.
  • Attend or conduct plant, customer, or training meetings as needed.
  • Travel may be required.
  • Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Warehouse Manager.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Previous warehouse supervisory experience with a proven ability to direct and coordinate operations.
  • Knowledge of warehouse software systems and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to input, retrieve, and analyze data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to lift 20–30 pounds as needed.
  • Ability to work in a refrigerated environment.
  • Availability outside normal business hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field preferred.
  • Three to five years’ experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, or a combination of education and experience in lieu of degree.
