On site training for all positions! We are looking to staff all departments and positions for our weekend shift which include the following:

  • Inbound Material Handlers
  • Inbound Forklift Operators
  • Outbound Material Handlers
  • Outbound Forklift Operators


Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL INBOUND JOBS AND JOB FUNCTIONS

Replenishment-

  • Use correct machinery based on location of the product to pull pallets from overstock to replenish primary bins in other areas
  • Pull and transport warehouse stock to fulfill orders as they are processed to ensure a high level of speed and accuracy
  • Confirm items, count, and bins while reporting any issues into mobile form
  • Complete assigned projects such as minimums and cycles during slow periods in the replenishment queue

Put away-

  • Create an effective driving route to correctly put away all products and quantities assigned in the correct location using forklift equipment and Company systems
  • Receive and stock inventory throughout the warehouse to fulfill orders as they are processed to ensure a high level of speed and accuracy

Check In-

  • Separate returns from vendor orders
  • Accurately check in order items using IDS and SPS systems
  • Document all discrepancies
  • Ensure all products are received and stocked with a high level of inventory accuracy and quality
  • Maintain the error log and utilize IDS to track accountability and ensure accuracy standards are met

Container Unloading-

  • Unload containers in a timely fashion, within required limitations set by drivers and the company
  • Confirm item numbers and quantity of orders with high level to detail

IC & QA-

  • Conduct daily cycle counts to ensure that inventory counts and system data points are correct
  • Manage items in overstock bin locations to ensure that overstock items are accurately accounted for
  • Investigate discrepancies found during cycle counts and adjust inventory in Company systems when issues are resolved
  • Complete periodic tasks including internal transfers, coordinate serial numbers, and generate various reports


ESSENTIAL OUTBOUND JOBS AND JOB FUNCTIONS

Order Picker-

  • Drive an order picker to assigned bins, identifying proper items and quantities for all orders
  • Walk to assigned bins, identifying proper items and quantities for all orders
  • Ensure that all orders are picked properly in a timely manner with strong attention to detail
  • Use a scanner to verify and identify products and then load products onto a conveyor belt

Consolidator-

  • Use scanners to verify and identify products pulled by pickers and received in consolidating area
  • Accurately identify corresponding orders to ensure that customers receive their complete orders in a short time frame
  • Organize and consolidate products of completed orders in totes, then placing them into put wall cubbies to be packed

Order Packer-

  • Use a scanner & SPS system to verify and identify products while ensuring that all orders are packed properly in a timely manner with strong attention to detail
  • Identify correct box size and downsize packaging to minimize shipping costs without sacrificing product quality and ensure that the product will be delivered without damage
  • Find and enter important shipping information into the SPS system
  • Bill and ship completed orders by utilizing warehouse systems (i.e. computer software, SPS system, scanners, conveyor, CVP)
  • Place completed packages on packing belt and/or palletize finished shipments for loading on truck

Truck Loader-

  • Accurately identify carrier based off label on package
  • Move palletized product from non-con and fast track taping areas to load onto proper designated trucks if needed
  • Efficiently stack packages into correct trailer based on carrier in an interlocking pattern
  • Lock out incoming trailers and unlock outgoing trailers

FastTrack Bundler-

  • Ensure that all fast track orders are accurately and efficiently taped/bundled together in a timely manner with strong attention to detail
  • Ship completed orders by utilizing conveyor belt system
  • Use manual pallet jack to move palletized cases of product to designated secure areas if needed
  • Use attention to detail to match correct quantities of product for respective orders to ensure accuracy


SHIFT SCHEDULE

Friday - Monday

7:00am - 5:30pm


WAGE

Starting Wage is $25/hr, with the potential raise every 6 months of up to $0.88.


WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. Occasional activities may involve exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes and gases. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The passage of employees through the work area is average and normal.


Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 12 hours/day.
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
  • Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
  • Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
  • Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 75lbs.

Experience

  • 1 year of relevant experience in a distribution environment; receiving and/or inventory experience preferred


Education

  • Complete and pass all equipment training
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office- primarily excel, word and teams.
  • Business proficiency in the ability to read, write, and communicate in English
