Consulting – Technology Consulting – AI & Data - Data Design & Management (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1705504), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Austin, TX. Demonstrate in-depth data management and governance knowledge, including data quality management, data integration, data modeling, and data cleansing techniques, in order to lead engagement teams in the strategic design and implementation of associated tools and platforms. Design methodology and execute activities to identify business needs and challenges through structured capability assessments, diagnostic analytics, solution analytics, and enterprise analytics. Utilize data strategy, data governance, data quality, data definition and usage, and data management to highlight US/Global client challenges, and identify opportunities to transform and improve clients’ organizations. Gather AI Ready Data, collecting company datasets (e.g. within operations, supply chain) to be levered for execution of client goals. Analyze data gathered using Enterprise Intelligence (EI) as a key enabler and integrate analytics and business intelligence to provide solutions according to clients’ organizational policies and IT environment. Establish project plan, delegate activities, and monitor progress to target to support successful and on-time, high quality delivery of client engagements focused on data acquisition, validation, management and/or analysis. Prepare client deliverables to present engagement findings and recommendations and conduct quality assurance reviews to support high quality work products. Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes. Manage and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field and at least 5 years of related work experience; OR a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field and at least 4 years of related work experience.
  • 3 years of experience in advising clients in at least 2 of the following areas across the data supply chain to deliver business value: information strategy, data architecture, information/data governance, master data management, data quality, and/or data integration, analytics design/development.
  • 2 years experience in at least one of the following sectors: Public, Utilities, Life sciences, Advanced manufacturing, Healthcare.
  • 2 years of experience in at least 1 of the following Cloud Platforms: AWS (Amazon Web Services), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure.
  • 2 years of experience in at least 1 of the following Data Storage and Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, HDFS (Hadoop Distributed File System).
  • 3 years of experience with ETL processes across at least 1 of the following tools: Informatica, AWS Glue, Fivetran, Talend, Integrate.io, Oracle Data Integrator, IBM InfoSphere, DataStage, Azure Data Factory, Hevo Data.
  • 2 years of experience in Data Cleaning and Preprocessing using at least 1 of the following: OpenRefine, Trifacta, Alteryx, Talend, Informatica, Tableau.
