This role will support Workday modules, including Core HCM, Recruitment, Talent, Time & Absence and Advanced Compensation. The ideal candidate brings solid Workday configuration experience, a solutions-oriented mindset, and the ability to collaborate with both business stakeholders and technical teams.</p><p>Key duties include gathering requirements, designing and implementing solutions, leading testing and deployment, providing ongoing system support, training users, and ensuring data integrity and security. This hands-on role requires a strong understanding of Workday's functionality and the ability to collaborate across the organization.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li><strong>System Configuration</strong>: Design, configure, and maintain Workday modules like Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, Benefits, and Recruiting. This includes setting up organizational structures, business processes, security roles, and condition rules.</li><li><strong>Integrations and Reporting</strong>: Work with technical teams to ensure seamless integrations with other systems. Design, develop, and maintain custom reports and dashboards.</li><li><strong>Security</strong>: Set up security configurations. Define security domains, business process policies, and conditional access controls to govern what users can see and do. Resolve security-related issues and provide support for security aspects of projects and integrations.</li><li><strong>Manage User Accounts</strong>: Create security groups, review user privileges, and deactivate accounts as needed.</li><li><strong>Data Integrity and Compliance</strong>: Ensure data accuracy, validate configurations, and maintain compliance with company policies and industry standards.</li><li><strong>System Support</strong>: Provide ongoing day-to-day support and troubleshooting for Workday issues and serve as a point of escalation for complex problems.</li><li><strong>Testing</strong>: Develop functional test cases and support end-to-end testing, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).</li><li><strong>Training and Documentation</strong>: Create and maintain training materials, user guides, and other documentation for end-users and support teams.</li><li><strong>Requirements Gathering</strong>: Partner with HR and business leaders to understand their needs and translate them into efficient, scalable Workday solutions.</li><li><strong>Project Leadership</strong>: Lead functional aspects of Workday projects, from initial discovery and design to testing and deployment.</li><li><strong>Continuous Improvement</strong>: Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend strategic Workday solutions to enhance efficiency and user experience.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p>Minimum Education, Experience and Skills:</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.</li><li>Workday Pro or Workday certifications.</li><li>Experience in People Operations or HR technology roles, ideally in a high-growth or rapidly changing environment.</li><li>5+ years of hands‑on Workday HRIS configuration, system builds, experience across Core HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Time & Absence, Benefits, Core and Advanced Compensation</li><li>Experience with EIBs, Core Connectors, and Workday security frameworks.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Workday business processes, calculated fields, and eligibility rules</li><li>Demonstrated ability to design, configure, test, and deploy module solutions end-to-end.</li><li>Experience building and optimizing Workday reports and dashboards; strong Excel and data analysis skills.</li><li>Experience supporting multi‑site or global environments.</li><li>Experience with job architecture, compensation cycles, and new Workday deployments.</li><li>Experience in manufacturing, pharma, biotech, or regulated industries.</li><li>Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts and partner effectively with employees at all levels.</li><li>Systems thinker with a builder mindset — proactive, curious, and motivated to automate and improve</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Working Conditions</strong></p><ul><li>Hybrid/Remote; arrangement to be determined.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><em>Bora is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
