Overview

About the Role -

In this role, you will combine strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of our product and business goals to build fulfillment capabilities that drive enterprise growth for Instacart. In providing data driven insights and problem-solving expertise, you will enhance decision making, identify new opportunities, and provide strategic guidance across Instacart's Enterprise Fulfillment team.

By collaborating closely with our product and data science teams, you will improve our understanding of complex problems and contribute to opportunities for improvement. Your work will directly impact our ability to understand our business, develop solutions, and help Instacart better service our Enterprise partners.

About the Team -

As a member of the Product Analytics team, you will provide essential support for strategic and product decision-making. Our team excels when the complexity of a problem is a function of navigating unknowns and considering impact across multiple lanes.

We improve strategic decision making by developing frameworks to balance tradeoffs and translate complex data into actionable recommendations. We serve as a point of connection between teams, facilitating collaboration, idea sharing, and alignment, helping Instacart develop more holistic solutions.

About the Job

In this dynamic role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Become an expert on Instacart’s Enterprise products that power fulfillment on retailer owned e-commerce platforms and enhance the ways we work with partners
  • Develop robust analytical frameworks to refine decision-making and tradeoffs across strategic and product opportunities
  • Ensure we have a holistic understanding of our business health, partner outcomes and the key factors driving performance
  • Help prioritize and define the roadmap for our Enterprise product direction
  • Translate complex datasets into understandable narratives and actionable recommendations
  • Proactively identify areas for impact, growth, and investment

About You

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience utilizing data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Comfort working in dynamic and ambiguous environments.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL.
  • Proven ability to synthesize data into compelling narratives.
  • Experience managing and prioritizing work across multiple teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ‘gig economy’ marketplaces
