    The Village of Lena offers Full-Time employees:

Position Details

There are immediate openings for Part-Time Officers, and we are creating an eligibility list for future full-time positions.

The full-time and Part-Time positions are open to certified Officers who are currently employed and are current with all state required qualifications.

The position requires working unsupervised for 12 hour shifts. All applicants must be able to perform normal police duties daily.

Applicant must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be between 21 and under 35 years of age (unless already a police officer)
  • Vision 20-40 both eyes corrected/uncorrected
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Pass a background check and an oral interview prior to consideration for employment with the Village of Lena
  • Good Mental and Physical Condition
  • Excellent Moral Character. You will not be considered for employment if you have any felony convictions, DUI or domestic battery or similar offenses.
  • Full-time Officers must live within 25 miles of the Village of Lena within 18 months of start date
