We're seeking a skilled Solutions Architect to accelerate customer adoption in state, local government, and education sectors.<br><br>As a Solutions Architect in our public sector team, you'll work directly with government agencies and educational institutions to architect solutions that improve student and citizen experiences using AWS cloud technologies. This role offers exceptional opportunities to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization while gaining exposure to a vast technology stack. You'll become both an industry and technical thought leader, meaningfully adding value to public service delivery through innovative cloud solutions.<br><br>Key job responsibilities<br><br><ul><li> Serve as a trusted technical advisor to state, local government, and education customers, designing and building solutions to difficult technical problems using AWS cloud services</li><li> Educate and share best practices by developing, delivering, and maintaining technical content including sample code, presentations, white papers, and workshops that incorporate lessons learned from customer engagements</li><li> Take customer input and translate it into technical requirements, working closely with internal teams including sales, business development, professional services, and engineering to drive customer success</li><li> Own the end-to-end design of cloud architecture solutions, conducting technical deep-dives with customer teams and providing guidance on security, scalability, availability, and performance best practices</li><li> Identify gaps in products and services while mentoring teammates on designing technical customer solutions and coordinating speaking opportunities at events that educate technical and business audiences<br><br></li></ul>A day in the life<br><br>Your day begins engaging customer stakeholders in technical discovery sessions, understanding their unique challenges and translating requirements into innovative AWS solutions. You'll spend time developing and presenting architecture solutions, building compelling demonstrations of what's possible with AWS through customer demos and proof of concepts. Between customer meetings, you'll collaborate with internal teams to refine technical approaches, create best practice documentation, and mentor colleagues on solution design patterns that drive meaningful outcomes for public sector customers.<br><br><strong>About The Team<br><br></strong>Our Solutions Architecture team is dedicated to supporting state, local government, and education customers in their cloud transformation journey. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
