We are committed to hiring the best, most talented people and empowering them to thrive, grow meaningful careers and to find a place where they belong.  Whether you’ve got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or you’re looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.   </p><p></p><h1>Facility Condition Assessment – Technical Director, Asset Services</h1><p><b><i>JLL Real Estate Due Diligence (JREDD) – Asset Services</i></b></p><ul><li>Serves as a senior leader within the Asset Services business of the JLL Real Estate Due Diligence (JREDD) division, providing strategic direction, national operational oversight, and executive-level client engagement for Facility Condition Assessment (FCA) in accordance with ASTM E2018, as well as Regulatory Compliance Audit (RCA) services.</li><li>Reports to and partners directly with the Global Leader of Asset Services to shape and execute the business strategy, drive sustainable revenue growth, and uphold the highest standards of technical and professional excellence across the Asset Services platform.</li><li>Provides enterprise-level leadership across technical operations, talent development, quality and risk management, and service innovation to advance JREDD’s position as the premier provider of real estate due diligence services.</li><li>Directs complex, multi-market client portfolios and serves as a key executive relationship owner, representing Asset Services in strategic business development pursuits, industry forums, and client-facing engagements.</li><li>Champions the development and continuous improvement of service delivery frameworks, technical standards, and operational processes to support scalable, high-quality FCA execution nationally.</li></ul><p></p><h2>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</h2><ul><li>Leads and oversees national production operations of the Asset Services – Facility Condition practice, including supporting accountability for revenue targets, gross profit margin, and overall financial health of the business line.</li><li>Exercises senior-level review authority over Facility Condition Assessment reports, ensuring alignment with JREDD quality standards, client-specific protocols, ASTM E2018, and applicable regulatory frameworks.</li><li>Establishes and cultivates executive-level client relationships across key accounts, proactively identifying opportunities to expand service scope, resolve escalated issues, and align delivery with clients; evolving portfolio objectives.</li><li>Collaborates with the Global Leader of Asset Services to define and implement the strategic vision for the business, including market expansion, service line innovation, and competitive positioning within the broader platform.</li><li>Provides support for executive oversight of project management staff nationally, ensuring consistent application of policies, technical standards, and operational procedures across all geographies and service engagements.</li><li>Serves as one of the division’s senior subject matter experts in areas including building systems and conditions, MEP, structural, building envelope, seismic risk, and ADA compliance in the context of Facility Condition Assessments.</li><li>Drives enterprise-level business development efforts, including leading pursuit strategies, responding to RFPs, and presenting JREDD Asset Services capabilities to JLL Integrated Facility Management (IFM) accounts, JLL Real Estate Management Services (REMS) verticals, institutional clients, and investment managers.</li><li>Leads the design, development, and governance of standardized service templates, scope frameworks, and field assessment tools to ensure scalable, repeatable delivery of FCA services.</li><li>Actively monitors industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging best practices to inform service evolution and maintain Asset Service’s technical leadership position.</li></ul><p></p><h2>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES</h2><ul><li>Provides senior leadership and formal supervision across multiple functional and operational teams within the Asset Services – Facility Condition practice.</li><li>Partners with the business leader to make final decisions regarding staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, and corrective action for direct reports and their respective teams.</li><li>Establishes and monitors staffing strategies, workforce planning, and resource allocation to align with budgeted revenue goals and service delivery demands nationally.</li><li>Oversees performance management processes, including review cycles, development planning, and compensation recommendations for direct reports and their teams.</li><li>Serves as a senior mentor and coach to the Asset Services team members to build bench strength and cultivate future leaders within the business.</li><li>Models and reinforces leadership behaviors aligned with JLL’s values, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional excellence.</li></ul><p></p><h2>QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE</h2><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in architecture, engineering, or a related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.</li><li>Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible commercial building evaluation experience, including extensive application of ASTM E2018 and Facility Condition Assessment methodologies across diverse asset classes.</li><li>Minimum of 12 years of experience in client management, strategic account development, and leadership of multi-disciplinary technical service teams.</li><li>Minimum of five (5) years of senior leadership experience with direct management of multi-level teams and demonstrated accountability for business line financial performance.</li><li>Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth, managing operational costs, and scaling technical service organizations in a national or multi-market context.</li><li>Expert-level knowledge of FCA scope requirements, and specialty applications including seismic, roofing, building envelope, conveyance, ADA, and MEP evaluations.</li></ul><p></p><h2>CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES</h2><ul><li>Active licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) required.</li></ul><p></p><h2>COMMUNICATION SKILLS</h2><ul><li>Exceptional ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business and technical documents and translate findings into actionable strategic recommendations for executive and client audiences.</li><li>Distinguished written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and consultative skills, with the ability to represent JREDD and Asset Services at the highest levels of client and industry engagement.</li><li>Proven ability to navigate and resolve sensitive, high-stakes issues with clients, regulatory bodies, and internal leadership, demonstrating sound judgment and diplomatic effectiveness.</li><li>Accomplished presenter with experience delivering strategic briefings, technical content, and business case arguments to C-suite and board-level audiences.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to inspire and influence clients, stakeholders, and team members to advance organizational objectives and service excellence.</li></ul><p></p><h2>FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE</h2><ul><li>Advanced knowledge of financial terms, principles, and performance metrics.
