<h2>                                                                                    </h2><h2><u>Job Description: </u></h2><h2><b>Compensation & Role Details:</b></h2><div><br>Expected Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is between $125,000  – $135,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications<br>Role Type: New role<br>AI Disclosure: AI may be used during the hiring process.</div><p></p><p><b>Manager, Cloud Operations</b></p><p></p><p><b>Job Responsibilities<br> </b></p><ul><li>Determine requirements for secure, reliable, cost-effective, and performant cloud environments for CORA Legal Group cloud products</li><li>Manage production deployment of CORA Legal Group cloud applications and services</li><li>Prioritize tasks and set direction for Cloud Operations team members</li><li>Collaborate with R&D management at BEC and RBRO to build monitoring and alerting platforms using mutually determined KPIs</li><li>Ensure that cloud systems are backed up, highly available, documented, and secure</li><li>Gather baseline performance information and establish related alerting mechanisms</li><li>Working with R&D management at BEC and RBRO, establish chains of custody and reporting/handoff procedures for bugs and incidents</li><li>Work with CORA Legal Group leadership to maintain existing SOC2 certifications and ensure that SOC2 requirements are continually met</li><li>Establish cloud security procedures; perform routine risk assessments and supervise periodic penetration testing</li><li>Proactively create and test remediation plans for anticipated issues</li><li>Find ways to continuously streamline and strengthen processes and capabilities using appropriate AI tools</li><li>Continually communicate status and promptly escalate issues to the appropriate team and department leaders</li><li>Act as advocate for Cloud Operations staff by identifying opportunities for future growth, recommending promotions, etc.</li><li>Build a culture of continuous growth and improvement within the Cloud Operations organization<br> </li></ul><p><b>Required Skills</b></p><p></p><ul><li>A track record of success in management of cloud architectures, including Azure and AWS</li><li>Significant experience in managing a team to oversee production cloud environments; strong team-building skills</li><li>Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines</li><li>Hands-on expertise in technology infrastructure including networking, compute, storage, and <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">virtualization/containerization</span> technologies</li><li>Excellent understanding of the architectural principles of cloud-based platforms (SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS)</li><li>Significant experiencing building and maintaining cloud infrastructure with IaC tools such as Terraform and Cloud Formation</li><li>Demonstrated experience with AI technologies, including usage of AI tools to generate and maintain CI/CD pipelines and enhance reporting/monitoring capabilities</li><li>Solid understanding of common software and application vulnerabilities, along with the ability and judgment to make quick decisions when necessary to mitigate risk and impact</li><li>Expertise in automating infrastructure, configuration and deployments</li><li>Significant experience with Application Performance Monitoring platforms such as New Relic or Datadog</li><li>Knowledge of a modern programming or scripting language (Python, Go, C#, Ruby, PowerShell, etc.)</li><li>Keen interest in DevOps methods and technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Git, Puppet, Chef, Jenkins, etc.)</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Very strong time management and analytical skills</li><li>A positive, diplomatic, and professional demeanor;
