If this sounds like the role for you, apply today!</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 13.0px;"><strong>What will you be doing! </strong></span></p><ul><li><span style="font-size: 13.0px;">Supporting comprehensive risk analysis across critical infrastructure sectors to identify both foreseeable and unforeseen threats to national security.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 13.0px;">Supporting the development of mitigation strategies by contributing to working groups and developing standard operating procedures.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 13.0px;">Participating in the development of short- and long-term recommendations to senior leadership and external stakeholders.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 13.0px;">Performing cross-functional research on critical infrastructure policies, practices, and capabilities to assess their relevance and completeness in addressing security risks.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 13.0px;">Providing subject matter expert recommendations in critical infrastructure-related topics.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 13.0px;">Providing support in the development or amendment of policy and legislation.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 13.0px;">Participating in national critical infrastructure working groups.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 13.0px;">Supporting the growth of the critical infrastructure protection research network with external collaborators and stakeholders.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 13.0px;">Collaborating with internal and external subject matter experts to identify research needs.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 13.0px;">Managing daily interactions with stakeholders to maintain effective and productive partnerships.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 13.0px;">Communicating project status and updates clearly to collaborators and stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 13.0px;">Disseminating research information with collaborators and stakeholders on the status of various projects.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 13.0px;">Planning and managing the content and delivery of project tasks.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 13.0px;">Other duties as assigned by your manager.  </span></li></ul><p><span style="font-size: 13.0px;"><strong>What we are looking for</strong>: </span></p><ul><li><span style="font-size: 13.0px;">Education </span><ul><li><span style="font-size: 13.0px;">University degree or college diploma in a relevant field from an accredited school. Having education in these related fields would be considered an asset: Infrastructure protection & international Security, International relations, Criminology, Defence studies, and Law.</span></li></ul></li><li><span style="font-size: 13.0px;">Experience </span><ul><li><span style="font-size: 13.0px;">A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a relevant discipline or equivalent combination of formal training and experience is required.</span></li></ul></li><li><span style="font-size: 13.0px;">Knowledge, Skills & Abilities </span><ul><li><span style="font-size: 13.0px;">Ability to manage own project tasks and budgets (approximately $10,000 to $20,000).</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 13.0px;">The ability to provide recommendations on strategy is an asset.</span></li><li><span style="color: Black;font-size: 13.0px;">Strong knowledge of federal nuclear and security agencies, including their mandates and operational roles.</span></li><li><span style="color: Black;font-size: 13.0px;">Awareness of a broad range of national security risks and resilience factors, often involving highly confidential information on operational vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies.</span></li><li><span style="color: Black;font-size: 13.0px;">Discretion and ability to manage sensitive information.</span></li><li><span style="color: Black;font-size: 13.0px;">Ability to develop, adapt, and communicate clear, compelling messages to diverse audiences.</span></li><li><span style="color: Black;font-size: 13.0px;">Skilled in managing and adapting to shifting priorities.</span></li><li><span style="color: Black;font-size: 13.0px;">Expertise in identifying process gaps, policy weaknesses, and vulnerabilities.</span></li><li><span style="color: Black;font-size: 13.0px;">Proficiency in conducting detailed analysis and summarizing findings into concise briefing materials for senior executives and decision-makers.</span></li><li><span style="color: Black;font-size: 13.0px;">Strong presentation skills, including both development and delivery.</span></li><li><span style="color: Black;font-size: 13.0px;">Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within teams and interagency working groups.</span></li><li><span style="color: Black;font-size: 13.0px;">Proficient in stakeholder management, with the ability to navigate a matrixed organization and collaborate effectively with a diverse set of external stakeholders.</span></li><li><span style="color: Black;font-size: 13.0px;">Ability to build strong, cooperative relationships both within and outside the organization.</span></li><li><span style="color: Black;font-size: 13.0px;">Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.</span></li><li><span style="color: Black;font-size: 13.0px;">Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.</span></li></ul></li><li><span style="color: Black;font-size: 13.0px;">Security Clearance Eligibility Required </span><ul><li><span style="color: Black;font-size: 13.0px;">Level 2 Secret requires <strong>a minimum of 7 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and/or the United Kingdom</strong>.
