The Accounts Payable specialist will have a daily, ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners. Also, you’ll establish relationships with various decision-makers within our ecosystem while preparing and maintaining accurate records and financial reports related to budgets, expenses etc.</p> <p> </p> <p></p><p><br></p><b>What you'll be doing:</b><div> <ul> <li> <p>Monitor the AP inbox. Work through and respond to inquiries and resolve questions/issues.</p> </li> <li> <p>Work closely with the vendor to request any applicable changes on invoices, tax removal, etc., and maintain a positive attitude in all correspondence.</p> </li> <li> <p>Recording invoices in systems</p> </li> <li> <p>Verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records</p> </li> <li> <p>Bank account reconciliation</p> </li> <li> <p>Processing payments to vendors</p> </li> <li> <p>Assist in accurate and timely recording and processing of invoices and payroll reports.</p> </li> <li> <p>Prepare vendor reconciliations, helping to identify any applicable issues</p> </li> <li> <p>Communication and cooperation with other stakeholders</p> </li> <li> <p>Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.</p> </li> <li> <p>Other duties as assigned by the AP Team Lead based on Finance department initiatives and priorities.
