Connected’s mission has always been to breed, grow, and sell the best cannabis in the world, setting high standards for its products, people, and partners wherever we go. <h3 class=" text-white font-semibold text-lg mb-2">About the Job</h3> We are looking for a Demand Planning Analyst with data-backed skill sets, manufacturing/supply chain/CPG experience, to participate and drive in the demand planning process. The demand planning function is an excellent way to broaden your experience while leveraging knowledge on large data sets to compute demand and supply plans to meet customer demand and maintain inventory targets. We measure this through various metrics.To be successful in the role, you will need deep analytical skills and proven experience working with large data sets. Manufacturing/CPG experience, and experience working with large product offerings and multiple retailers is a plus. The role also requires excellent communication skills, and an ability to influence across business functions at different levels. You will work in a fast-paced environment that requires you to be detail-oriented and comfortable in working with technical and business teams alike. In this role, you’ll manage demand and supply forecasting and analytics for our three states (California, Arizona, Florida), and compile thorough weekly and monthly plans. This role will also work cross-functionally to assume full responsibility for product planning. If you’re data-driven and love making insights actionable, this is the opportunity for you. NOTE: While this role does not require an in office presence, applicants will need to reside in one of the following four states to be considered: California, Washington, Arizona, Florida <h3 class=" text-white font-semibold text-lg mb-2">What You Will Do</h3> <ul class=" text-base sm:text-lg marker:text-color list-inside list-disc text-gray-500 list-disc list-outside pl-3 mb-6"> <li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2">Be the inventory and sales data expert, leading the demand, supply, and allocation planning process across Connected’s portfolio, working closely with department leaders across all stages of the cannabis lifecycle, from planting at cultivation to allocating product to specific retail outlets</li> <li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2">Drive and participate in cross-functional team meetings with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Cultivation to develop best in class demand and supply planning, including monthly and quarterly forecasts</li> <li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2">Utilize advanced methods of forecasting, such as variability and statistical modeling, to drive accuracy and efficiency, accounting for unique product category and SKU demands</li> <li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2">Analyze inventory, out-of-stocks, budget to actuals, sales, sellthrough, seasonality, shipments, consumption and more to strive for greater levels of accuracy for near-term and long-term planning</li> <li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2">Manage several, high impact projects simultaneously and communicate data-driven insights and recommendations to diverse senior stakeholders.</li> <li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2">Scenario planning for different Demand and Supply scenarios, understand & articulate the different options and the impact, and monitor performance to plan</li> <li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2">Understand the end-to-end process of our product, from the supply planning to the consumer, by data mining for customer analytics</li> <li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2">Other duties as assigned</li> </ul> <h3 class=" text-white font-semibold text-lg mb-2">What We Are Looking For</h3> <ul class=" text-base sm:text-lg marker:text-color list-inside list-disc text-gray-500 list-disc list-outside pl-3 mb-6"> <li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2">Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, Business or a related quantitative field required OR equivalent experience.</li> <li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2">Experience in manufacturing or CPG is highly preferred.</li> <li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2">Cannabis experience a plus</li> <li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2">Excellent computer and mathematics skills, as well as data analysis;
