As a Finance Reporting Coordinator, you will be instrumental in the timely and accurate preparation of various financial reports, analyses, and presentations. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and compile accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
  • Perform detailed financial analysis to support management decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards (IFRS/ASPE) and internal financial policies.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, monitoring variances and providing explanations.
  • Support internal and external audit processes by providing requested documentation and explanations.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and ensure data integrity.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial reporting and implement best practices.
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation in accordance with company policies.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across the organization.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in financial reporting or analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and financial modeling.
  • Solid understanding of Canadian accounting standards (IFRS or ASPE).
  • Experience with large-scale ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote environment.
