<div><p>Labcorp is seeking <b>a Project Specialist</b> to join our team <b>Remotely</b>.</p><p></p><p><b>Work Schedule: per diem, as needed</b></p><p></p></div><div><p><b><span>Job Responsibilities</span></b></p><ul><li><span>Manage and maintain multiple laboratory billing Workqueues (WQs) in Epic to ensure timely and accurate claim resolution.</span></li><li><span>Review, update, and maintain billing training materials, workflow documentation, and process guides.</span></li><li><span>Monitor and interpret CMS billing guidelines and payer policy updates; translate necessary changes into workflow updates and training materials.</span></li><li><span>Collaborate with laboratory teams, billing teams, and HHS leadership to identify workflow gaps and implement corrective actions.</span></li><li><span>Provide clear, professional communication across departments, including escalation of issues and sharing of process updates.</span></li><li><span>Ensure high levels of accuracy and attention to detail in all documentation, billing tasks, and communication.</span></li></ul><p><span> </span></p><p><b><span>Minimum Qualifications</span></b></p><ul><li><span>High School Diploma or equivalent</span></li></ul><ul><li><span>2 years or more medical billing experience </span></li><li><span>2 years or more of experience in a clinical laboratory environment </span></li></ul><p><b><span> </span></b></p><p><b><span>Preferred Qualifications</span></b></p><ul><li><span>Current or prior Labcorp experience</span></li></ul><p><span> </span></p><p><b><span>Additional Job Standards </span></b></p><ul><li><span>Experience updating or developing workflow documentation and training materials</span></li><li><span>Strong familiarity with laboratory workflows, particularly reference and send‑out testing</span></li><li><span>Excellent written and verbal <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">communication skills</span></span></li><li><span>Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail and maintain accuracy in complex workflows</span></li><li><span>Working knowledge of CMS billing rules, medical necessity requirements, and payer guidelines </span></li><li><span>Experience working with an Electronic Health Record (EHR)</span></li><li><span>Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively across departments</span></li><li><span>Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to analyze workflow issues.</span></li></ul><p></p><p>At Labcorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives.
