Join our team of professionals who support large-scale government operations by leveraging cutting-edge technology and take your career to the next level! </span></p><p style="margin: 0in; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 12.0pt;"> </p><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times; color: #000000;">The <strong>Records Clerk</strong> downloads, creates, verifies image quality, processes, performs data entry maintains, retrieves, validates and retires shipping (manifest) records.</span></p> <br><strong>Responsibilities</strong><br><br><ul><li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: #000000;">Utilize an official Government webpage to download PDFs, check for image/scan quality, perform data entry, quality assurance and fully submit into the system.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: #000000;">Record information in logs and automated tracking systems or other electronic information or record-keeping systems concerning files (e.g., add, delete, update, modify, and correct tracking records. Scan files, check files in, check files out, transfer files, retire files, and recycle files, etc.). </span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: #000000;">Research information systems and find aids to identify and locate files. </span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: #000000;">Identify, organize, describe, and label record materials as necessary. </span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: #000000;">Interfile documents into files, refile sections, create new file sections physically and on the electronic system, label files and attach bar code labels to them, scan documents, and create electronic file folders. </span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: #000000;">Retrieve files and process them for delivery to requestors. </span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: #000000;">Maintain files, including removing duplicate copies of records, preparing substitute closure forms when missing, replacing worn or improperly labeled folders, and redistributing files on the shelves, etc. </span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: #000000;">Prepare files for transfer to other units or for retirement to the federal records center by labeling, listing, boxing, and otherwise processing them. </span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: #000000;">Conduct regular shelf reading and other quality control inventories of files being maintained in all paper and electronic formats. </span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: #000000;">Research SOP and other official materials to initiate workarounds and if not possible, place phone calls, emails or corrections requests to industry users to resolve manifest discrepancies. </span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: #000000;">Other duties as assigned.</span></li></ul> <br><strong>Qualifications</strong><br><br><ul><li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: #000000;">High school diploma or GED equivalent is required </span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: #000000;">6+ months of on-the-job experience using a computer terminal, a scanner, and electronic document management tools and software </span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12pt;
