This is a platform built at the intersection of knowledge management, content delivery, and AI-assisted discovery, and it is evolving rapidly.

As Senior Principal Product Manager, you will own the full platform — the foundation on which our Solutions, Services, and advisory experiences are built. You will define and drive the product vision and roadmap, work directly with lead architects and engineering teams across India and Poland, partner closely with our UI/UX designer, and collaborate with Product Owners who manage sprint-level delivery across multiple scrum teams. You will also serve as the connective tissue between three critical stakeholder groups: the customers and Autodesk consultants who use the platform daily, and the Solutions and Services PMs who have a stake in how their content and services are experienced and consumed.

This is a role for someone who is energized by building. The platform is new, the market opportunity is significant, and the roadmap reflects that ambition. The person in this role will thrive on creating structure in a fast-moving environment, making high-quality decisions with incomplete information, and shaping a product that is still defining what it can become.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the platform, balancing near-term delivery with long-term platform integrity

Define and drive the AI-assisted discovery and personalization strategy that enables customers and consultants to find relevant workflows, solutions, and knowledge based on their specific context

Partner with lead architects and senior engineers across globally distributed teams to translate product strategy into technical direction

Work with Product Owners to ensure roadmap priorities are effectively executed across multiple scrum teams

Collaborate with Solutions and Services PMs to ensure platform capabilities effectively support content delivery and service consumption experiences

Develop deep understanding of the needs of both external customers and internal Autodesk consultants, and translate those needs into platform features and experiences

Define and track success metrics that reflect both platform health and the business outcomes the platform is designed to drive

Navigate a complex stakeholder environment, building alignment across consulting leadership, engineering, design, and go-to-market teams

Contribute to the commercialization strategy, helping define how the platform creates and captures value over time

Minimum Qualifications

10+ years of product management experience, with a track record of shipping complex, multi-stakeholder products

Demonstrated experience building AI-enabled applications, particularly in the areas of intelligent search, contextual discovery, recommendation systems, or personalization

Experience building products that span SaaS applications, content platforms, and service delivery — not just traditional software features

Proven ability to operate effectively in early-stage or rapidly evolving product environments where structure and clarity must be created, not inherited

Strong technical fluency, with the ability to engage meaningfully with architects and engineers on system design, data architecture, and AI/ML approaches

Experience working with globally distributed engineering teams

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without authority at a senior level

Nice to have: experience building content lifecycle management products, particularly those involving structured, hierarchical, or reusable content — including authoring, publishing workflows, versioning, and change propagation

AI/ML frameworks and application patterns, including RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), vector databases, semantic search, and large language model integration

Modern SaaS platform architecture and API-driven product design

Content management and knowledge management systems

Content lifecycle management tooling, including structured authoring environments, library management, and publishing workflows

Analytics and data pipeline tooling

Agile delivery methodologies and experience working with Product Owners across multiple scrum teams

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate has built products where an intelligent discovery layer is the differentiator — where the ability to surface the right knowledge, in the right context, for the right user is what makes the product worth using. They understand what it takes to make that experience feel effortless, and they bring the technical depth to engage meaningfully with engineers and architects on how to build it.

They are comfortable in the ambiguity of a brand new product. They don’t need a mature backlog or a well-worn playbook — they can create structure where none exists, make sound decisions with incomplete information, and keep a complex roadmap moving without losing sight of the long-term vision.

They think in systems. They understand that a platform serving customers, internal consultants, and peer product managers simultaneously requires architectural thinking, not just feature thinking.

They are a natural connector. In a role that sits at the center of platform, solutions, and services, they build trust quickly, communicate with clarity, and have a track record of aligning diverse stakeholders around a shared direction.

A candidate who also brings experience with content lifecycle management — structured authoring, library systems, versioning, and hierarchical content relationships — would bring a rare and particularly valuable perspective to this role.

Learn More

About Autodesk

Welcome to Autodesk!
